Join the Advanced Junior Programming Class

Beginning with blocked-based coding, such as Scratch, has been demonstrated to benefit middle school pupils who are new to coding. In just eight weeks, this condensed set of Scratch coding workshops introduces students to all of the major coding topics and prepares them for more advanced computer science courses. Scratch advanced coding prepares pupils for success.

Teachers lead kids who are taking their first steps in coding through an enlightening process of creating, critical thinking, problem solving, and mastering computational thinking skills, unlike many coding classes where kids are handed a sheet of paper and asked to follow instructions. With our small classes' interactive setting and inquiry-based teaching style, teachers lead kids who are taking their first steps in coding through an enlightening process of creating, critical thinking, problem solving, and mastering computational thinking skills. Discover the difference for yourself now!

We cover more advanced coding principles in Scratch, such as functions and lists, in part II of the advanced junior programming series, while continuing to explore amazing capabilities Scratch has to offer, such as cloning. Each session, students will work on a new, somewhat challenging project, such as animations, games, or narrative. The emphasis in this session, like with all of our classes, is on creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, and having fun!
