Join the Minecraft Coding

Is Minecraft a game that your youngster enjoys? Minecraft: Education Edition is a spin-off of the original Minecraft game that adds new features to educate youngsters coding and other STEM concepts. It encourages creativity, cooperation, and problem-solving in an immersive world where imagination is the only restriction.

We cover a wide range of coding principles in these carefully crafted Minecraft modding lessons. We begin by teaching children the principles of coding, which include layering commands together to make computers perform things. Kids will use agents to solve problems while interacting with other characters in the game. Then we'll go through basic coding ideas including loops, operations, conditionals, events, functions, variables, and more.

Let the good times roll! In this entertaining lesson, we begin with the fundamentals of coding ideas. Students solve challenges by programming an agent to move, execute actions, and respond to the environment in the Minecraft game. They are also given the ability to create their own open-ended riddles. We'll go through basic coding concepts like sequence, conditional, and loop, among others. Our curriculum specialists created all of the puzzles and projects just for Kids Coding.

In level 2, students begin to spend more time working on open-ended projects, allowing them to explore and be more creative. Intermediate coding fundamentals such as variables, events, and functions are also covered. Students may code to put and break bricks, build structures, produce animals, create mini-games, and much more using Minecraft as the platform. They will have a sense of control. They can not only play Minecraft, but they can also make their own games!

Build your own zombie-fighting war game in Minecraft and compete to determine who is the best at the rock, paper, scissors game. This is the final session in a series of coding lessons based on the Minecraft Education version. By creating two engaging games, we will practise and learn more about how to utilise variables and functions to make our code more efficient and reusable. The logic and components of the game are also more complicated. Have fun coding and developing your creations!
